William (“Bill”) Coates comes to Stratos with time-tested experience helping individuals, families, and business owners navigate their financial planning decisions with purpose.  With a mission to simplify complex financial concepts for his clients, Bill works hard to ensure that everyone has a financial strategy that is understandable, realistic, and aligns with their goals.

Holding his Series 7 and 66 licenses through LPL Financial, Bill takes a holistic approach while building a relationship with his clients – helping them look at the big picture while still explaining the small details of every plan. He loves helping clients cut through the complicated jargon of the investment world to help keep things simple – a focus on their short and long-term financial goals.

Bill is active locally in Sewickley and throughout western Pennsylvania; and he currently serves on the Waynesburg University Alumni Council. He and his family reside in Sewickley, are engaged in multiple community organizations, and are members of Sewickley Presbyterian Church.

When he’s at home, Bill is first spending time with family in Sewickley, often running around town with his wife and two children for numerous family activities.  Otherwise, you can find him playing golf or paddling all around Pittsburgh.
